I am posting this from my cell phone, so I cannot promise that it will look all professional and awesome lol. That being said, here goes!
About a week ago, (give or take a few days) I started taking Plexus Slim. Around the same time, my crohns started acting up. I majorly, majorly slacked on this. I was taking the accelerator pills in the AM for the energy it gave me, because with it I was actually able to get out of bed! I wasn't drinking the pink drink after the first two days.
I'm on 40mg of prednisone a day, and I could swear to you that the pink drink does not curb the appetite for me like it would a normal person. The prednisone cravings are just too strong. I've been absolutely pigging out, scared to step on the scale.
Well, last night it all hit me at once. I was overly exhausted and just in pain. I laid down with my kids at their bedtime, and I slept all night long. This morning I woke up and decided that it's high time to switch myself back to an all liquid diet for a while. My body needs a break! Digesting food is hard work for me, and boy does it show. So, I decided to step on the scale before starting back on the plexus slim regimen and also my liquid diet. Come to find out, even with slacking, I've lost about 7 pounds. Well hell yes, I'll take it! That's motivation for sure.
Since I'm switching back to an all liquid diet, I'm hoping the pink drink will actually start to curb my appetite... because I'm going to feel like I'm absolutely starving to death. I still have to cook meals for my family even though I won't be able to eat it, and that is going to take a LOT of will power.
